2010 Top Terms in Negotiation

IACCM has conducted an annual 'Top Negotiated Terms' survey over the past nine years to determine what the most negotiated terms we use are - AKA the Top Ten (10) Negotiated Terms. This year's edition received over 1200 responses, representing many thousands of negotiators from across a wide range of industries, jurisdictions and geographic regions. While the results of the 2010 survey are broadly similar to those of the year before, there are changes that reflect the shift in economic conditions (e.g. payment terms) and others that indicate the continuing increase in service and solution offerings (e.g. scope and goals). Performance Bonds, Guarantees and Undertakings, have entered the list of top 30 negotiated terms for the first time.
