The Statement of Work eLearning program comprises of four courses and is available online and self-paced.
Preparing work
This course introduces the preparation phase of SoWs, with iterative questioning and early engagement methods which fast track effective dialogue between buyers and suppliers. Learners receive a set of key questions that should be asked at this stage of the project and are given guidance on how to agree the goal of the project.
Scope and deliverables
This course covers what good scope is, and how to create or review one using language that clearly defines accountability and prevents misunderstandings. Learners are given the opportunity to practice using deliverables and acceptance criteria and provided with best practice answers.
Governance, automation and analytics
This course explores how the SoW can be used to agree right-sized governance which then reduces project risks. It emphasizes the importance of clear obligations and acceptance criteria to measure and agree success. It also looks at some of the problems SoW automation can help to solve and how professionals can use data to drive value improvements.
Commercials strategy
Learners consider how to choose commercial models which incentivize the outcomes, the relationship, and the quality you want.
