Global Financial Controller
As Global Financial Controller of World Commerce & Contracting, I am responsible for all financial matters of the Association.
I am a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Maryland and hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration. My undergraduate degree is in Accounting from the University of Maryland.
I have a varied career in accounting that spans the last 12+ years. I started as an auditor working for a mid-sized auditing firm with mostly non-profit clients as well as some state and local government and commercial organizations. I went on to work for a large publicly-traded telecommunications company as a Senior Manager of Revenue Recognition for 10 years, leading a team of 8-10 individuals and responsible for revenue accuracy across all regions and product lines. My most recent role before coming to World CC was as a CPA for an accounting firm where I performed full cycle accounting and bookkeeping services for several small clients, including those in SAAS, manufacturing and recruitment.
I live in Maryland, U.S. with my husband and 3 young children. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, riding horses and exercising.
