Leaders of the Future

At WorldCC we pride ourselves on the quality of our Virtual Events, and the ability to reach and unite so much of the world through online platforms.

This year, WorldCC brings you four captivating online events as part of our Digital Takeover series, each dedicated to a vital aspect of contemporary contracting. In March, we had Negotiation Week, June included Collaboration Week, in September we will see the return of AI in Contracting Week, and we’ll finish our series with Careers Week in November.

Selected by a panel of esteemed judges, our winners have demonstrated incredible insight, outsight, analysis, creativity, and strong preparation.

2023 Global Winning Team - Europe!

We received many impressive submissions from our member organisations across the globe, but only one team emerged as the global winner. Congratulations to the Europe team, composed of Amarachi Chukwunyere, Craig Kyte, Emmanuel Latunde, Matthew Sidhu, and Novisi Ama Dei, who impressed our panel of judges and everyone, who voted for them, with their innovative and comprehensive presentation. They demonstrated a deep understanding of the current challenges and opportunities facing CCM professionals, and proposed a practical and effective framework for delivering strategic value through CCM.

2022 Global Winning Team - Americas!

"Delivering Strategic Value" is the number one priority for our WorldCC Community. If unpredictability is not going away, and today’s contracts and contracting processes are incapable of dealing with its consequences, what does "Delivering Strategic Value" mean? Our 2022 winning team of contract and commercial managers demonstrated unique creativity, and strong preparation in their approach to addressing the unhealthy state of today’s contracts and processes - which serve little if any purpose to organisations navigating the crisis over the last two years of historic global disruptions. Innovators of the Future

Following the success of our Leaders of the Future Program, we introduced the Innovators of the Future initiative for young rising stars. The opportunity to participate in this program is limited to WorldCC enterprise members only.

This is a fantastic learning experience providing an environment in which your young leaders can demonstrate their skills and judgment.

BAE Systems has participated in the World Commerce & Contracting (formerly IACCM) Leaders of the Future initiative since its inception. It provides a great platform to expose our talent to a range of inspiring, exciting and thought provoking opportunities and individuals. The Leaders of the Future Program is a great initiative from the World Commerce & Contracting (formally IACCM) which allows the new generation of Commercial & Contract managers to mingle with more experienced professionals, and to be exposed to the most innovative trends and best practices shared in the industry. All of our young leaders who had an opportunity to participate to the program came back thrilled, energized and with a network of other young CCM professionals with whom they stay in contact. This program is a source of inspiration for our young colleagues and it constitutes an opportunity for us to reward our best talent.

The Young Leaders program has been a key element in our ability to encourage and grow young talent in the commercial community. We use it as a focus for our internal selection competition which uses the World Commerce and Contracting (formerly IACCM) Theme within a business improvement project given to the candidates. The individual benefits from interaction with the wider commercial community, while the business benefits from new ideas and continuous improvement. This year being virtual we have been able to commit two candidates to the program. We recommend the program to all businesses to encourage growth and talent.
