IACCM Ask the Expert Call: Building successful supplier relationship - Recording

In the last 3 years, General Motors has achieved a remarkable turn-round in its fortunes. One aspect of this has been its success in rebuilding and strengthening relationships with key suppliers. Always a leader in outsourcing, GM has been able to put this experience to great use in developing a more structured relationship management process and ensuring that there is truly a sense of partnership and collaboration.

Dan Mahlebasian, Chief Contracting Officer and Global Director Purchasing, IT has been at the heart of this program and on this Expert call will outline the challenges and the successes of the journey to improved supplier relationships. He will also share his thoughts on 'next steps' and the barriers that traditional procurement measures and behaviors can create.
