 The ExpertHoward Richman Since earning his MBA in Finance from Columbia University, Howard has spent 25 + years in Finance and Procurement leadership roles for UTC, M&M/Mars, GlaxoSmithKline and Merck. Howard's responsibilities have included stints in Finance, Plant Purchasing, Supply Chain Business Development, Raw Material commodities Hedging and Trading, and leading  3 Global IT Procurement functions.Howard served as Head of Global Indirect Procurement managing global HR/Corporate/Professional/Legal Services; Site Facilities and Travel Services; Media, Marketing and Promotional Services; IT and Energy Procurement for Merck. He was appointed to this role after serving as Sr. Director of Procurement Change Management, where he has helped lead the transformation of Merck's Global Procurement function into a highly integrated, best in class organization.  Howard has also served on the boards of the US Pan-Asian American Chamber of Commerce which promotes use of firms owned by Asian-Americans; and Telerx, a wholly-owned Merck call center business.In 2009, Howard launched his Procurement and Supply Chain consultancy, Levelfield Enterprises LLC, and has consulted for clients in manufacturing, healthcare and the hospitality industry. Howard was recently named the Head of WorldWide Indirect Procurement for Citrix Systems, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
