Fractals are patterns found in nature that are self-similar at every scale. Understanding fractals has significant implications for how organisations can describe and create leadership and the structure underpinning it. One key aspect of this approach is the shift in focus from the 'expertise of the few' to the 'wisdom of the many' and a recognition, that in order to thrive in the times of rapid change, creativity, implementation and leadership capacity must be distributed throughout the organisation's systems.
