The subject matter covers the various kinds of risks in executing a Project in the oil and gas industry through the award by the Owner to one Contractor on a Lump sum price - it is limited to handover to the Owner - and does not cover beyond that period (Operation and Maintenance) etc.Our expertMr.B.R.Srikanth is a Chemical Engineer and MBA and has 36 years of Project Management experience in infrastructure and other Greenfield projects. He has worked in the oil and gas industry for 17 of these years in Saudi Arabia, Algeria, UAE, Oman, Qatar, Sudan and Malaysia - in companies performing oversight of EPC Contractors or working as EPC Contractors. His exposure covers a wide range of projects from constructing onshore modules for offshore Gas-Oil Separation Plant, Central Processing Facilities, cross country pipelines, LNG Plant Construction, Refinery and  Petrochemical plant construction etc.Currently, he has just completed a Project in Algeria at a remote location in the Sahara desert as a Project Contracts Manager in one of the toughest environments.
