Trevor Hughes, CIPP, President & CEO, IAPPJ. Trevor Hughes is the president and CEO of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). In this role, Hughes leads the world's largest association of privacy professionals.A native of Canada, Hughes is an experienced attorney in privacy, technology and marketing law. He has provided testimony before the U.S. Congress Commerce Committee, the Senate Commerce Committee, the Federal Trade Commission, the Home Affairs Committee of the British Parliament and the EU Parliament on issues of privacy, surveillance, spam and privacy-sensitive technologies.Hughes previously served as the executive director of the Network Advertising Initiative, a leading online privacy trade association, and the Email Sender and Provider Coalition, a trade association working on e-mail policy and practices. He is also an adjunct professor of law at the University of Maine School of Law.  Michael McCullough, Vice President, Enterprise Information Management & Privacy at Macy'sMichael McCullough has over 15 years experience in privacy and information management (IM), across public and private sectors, and addressing privacy and IM issues from legal, policy, and business perspectives. Currently serving as corporate Vice President, Enterprise Information Management & Privacy for Macy's, Inc., Mr. McCullough is responsible for data classification; data risk management; contract assurance; policy management; RIM training; and leads the data incident response team.In previous roles, Mr. McCullough led the development of the IBM Privacy Maturity Model, defining privacy management capabilities across ten dimensions and five maturity levels. He also served as one of the first Chief Privacy Officers in the United States for a San Francisco based Secure Internet Application Services Provider.In 2000, Mr. McCullough co-authored with Keith Enright the CPO Guidelines for US Companies.Marty Provin, EVP of Jordan LawrenceMarty Provin is Executive Vice President of Jordan Lawrence, a leading solution provider for records retention, data privacy and information governance. He has over 20 years of experience in information technology and governance. Marty joined Jordan Lawrence in 2003 and advises in-house counsel, compliance and privacy professionals in the areas of records management, data privacy and e-discovery and the confluence of technology in these areas.He plays a key role in helping companies develop effective, defensible and cost effective information governance programs that address information across all platforms and media. He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) and frequent contributor and speaker in the legal and privacy communities. Most recently he was a featured speaker at the 2011 Twin Cities Privacy Retreat, 2011 Secure World Expos, and the 2011 IAPP Privacy Academy. Prior to joining Jordan Lawrence in 2003, Marty spent 13 years in the technology industry where he worked with Fortune 500 Companies in developing solutions to manage workflow and increase efficiency.
