Research clearly shows that a significant number of major outsourcing contracts and large commercial deals still go off the rails, and fail to deliver to the original business case. The results are often disappointing, and can result in termination of agreements and strategic relationships.The ISO committee which is drafting guidance on good industry practice in managing outsourcing contracts will be reviewing its proposed Draft International Standard in June, (ISO 37500 Outsourcing). IACCM members have an opportunity to review the latest draft of the proposed standard and provide input through the IACCM liaison representatives attending this ISO meeting. This call provides the latest information on the draft standard and discuss its content and the thinking and good industry practices it contains to encourage members comments and suggestions.The following topics will be covered: What does the standard cover?
