According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), 2022 has seen the largest ever spike in job vacancies - a surge on a scale that has never been seen before. Job vacancies have increased more than 50% on pre-pandemic levels and a quarter of employers have reported they are struggling to fill roles.
