Read more As Global Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), Yau leads DEI strategy for BNY Mellon and its nearly 50,000-strong workforce, promoting DEI as drivers of organizational and individual engagement, performance and growth. She also engages with clients, peers, professional associations and nonprofits to share ideas, best practices and leverage broader stakeholder networks to accelerate DEI progress at BNY Mellon and across the financial services industry. Yau brings to the role her passion and expertise in inclusive leadership and harnessing the power of communications to build and strengthen talent experiences, client relationships and brand reputation. Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Yau specialized in communications strategy at Deloitte Global, leading global initiatives focused on enhancing marketplace eminence, brand differentiation and client consideration. She has also led executive communications for Bank of America Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management, served as Chief Marketing Officer for a tech start-up and as Director of Marketing for a professional services company. Yau started her career in financial services as an equity investment analyst, and has held roles in corporate development, M&A and private equity. Yau has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Illinois – Champaign/Urbana and a Digital Media Marketing certificate from New York University. She is a member of various D&I leadership forums, including The Conference Board’s Global Diversity & Inclusion Executives Council, SIFMA’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee and Asia Society’s Talent & Diversity Council. Yau lives with her husband in New Jersey, and is the lucky stepmom to three boys. She enjoys cooking, hiking, biking and traveling. She also designs jewelry, and has been twice featured in InStyle magazine.

Aurecon operates in 10 countries across the Asia Pacific, with a team of over 5,500 engineers, scientists and advisors and a net annual revenue of approximately A$1.0 billion.

Prior to becoming CEO in February 2019, Bill was eight years in the role of Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand, and has held senior operational positions within Aurecon throughout his over 30 years with the company. Bill’s engineering expertise has been focused on major transport infrastructure projects which he has been involved in across the Asia Pacific and the United Kingdom.

Bill is a member of the Aurecon Group Board and is Chair of the Group Health and Safety Committee. He also sits on the University of Technology Sydney Faculty of Engineering and IT Industry Advisory Board.

Bill is passionate about equality, diversity and inclusion in all forms and is a member of the Champions of Change STEM Coalition.

Bill was recognised by Engineers Australia as one of the Top 100 most influential engineers in 2015 and was appointed as a Fellow of Engineers Australia and the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering in 2019.

Under Bill’s leadership Aurecon received recognition in 2020 as the AFR BOSS Australasia’s Most Innovative Company as well as being named Most Innovative Professional Services Company. In addition, Aurecon’s Project Gilghi was recognised as Best Social Impact Innovation. Aurecon was further recognised by The Australian Financial Review as one of Australia and New Zealand’s Best Places to Work in 2021.

Read more Ted Botzum, an IACCM Executive-in-Residence, who joined IACCM after merging the BFSI sourcing roundtable network, Global SRN into IACCM, is an accomplished, business-focused sourcing, finance and IT executive with extensive knowledge of and deep experience in the marketplace. With leading commercial deal structuring in over $30 billion in transactions, he has an extensive background in deal structuring and negotiations, governance, vendor management, program management, finance, strategic development, asset sales / buy-backs, M&A integration, people and project management, IT services and business development. He has had leadership roles over the years at IBM, TPI Inc./Information Services Group (ISG), and UBS and currently leads IACCM’s BFSI network in addition to running his own advisory business. He has led and developed financial best practices that are used industry-wide. Teds holds an MBA in Finance from Fairleigh-Dickenson University and BS in Management from SUNY Binghamton. He is a CCM (Commercial and Contract Management) Advanced Practitioner, Certified Outsourcing Professional (COP), Professional Project Manager (PMP) and ITIL certified. As president and founder of The Michael Petrone Foundation, he has led community service efforts focused on a range of identified individual needs, including scholarships at Pope John Paul II and Kennedy-Kenrick High Schools. Ted currently resides in Raleigh & Wilmington, North Carolina.

Joanne Chuang

Read more Joanne is the Head of Data Services, Triage and Matter Management at SYKE Legal Engineering. Her role aims to set and deliver the strategy for SYKE’s Data Services and AI technology workstream in the APAC region. Joanne manages a team of legal engineers based in Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and India. Her experience in legal technology is extensive which has enabled her to lead and manage large scale global legal transformation projects, end-to-end implementation of contract lifecycle and automation tools, develop bespoke workflows and train artificial intelligent contract abstraction tools for local and global clients. Joanne read Law at the University of Durham, UK and is a dual qualified lawyer with more than 15 years of private practice experience in the UK and Malaysia specializing in technology and intellectual property. Joanne was previously a lawyer at Field Fisher Waterhouse and Baker & McKenzie. Joanne was also the Head of Legal and Global Project Manager at Unilever where she successfully led Unilever’s global legal transformation project and implemented and managed the end-to-end roll out of its legal transformation journey across 33 countries. Joanne was nominated in the Asian Legal Business top 3 In-House Lawyer of the Year Award in 2017 and recipient of Unilever’s World Class Legal Winner in 2015, 2016 and 2018. Joanne is proud of being at the cutting edge of data driven legal innovation and has a keen interest in the interaction between human and technology through the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Read more That was the reason for Ines Curtius, Contract Innovator at Airbus Defence and Space to go to law school in Munich. For Ines cooperating with and including all various functions and business areas to build good, simple and understandable contracts have been key in her life. Another area of passion of Ines is giving internal trainings at Airbus to explain law and contracts in an international context. Since 2003 she has been designing and conducting approximately app. 100 sessions and is continuously doing so. Fortunately she was able to start in 2017 an Airbus wide initiative “Contract Innovators@Airbus” to explore how digital transformation in all its forms, be it legal tech or legal content wise is impacting the way Airbus is handling their contractual relationships. The ContractInnovators also won 2019 the IACCM global award for innovation and excellence - strategic direction. The award is given to initiatives that have raised the strategic profile and contribution of the commercial or contracting process or function. Ines is a fully qualified lawyer and has twenty years of experience in the Aerospace industry sales and buy side. Her focus areas are: international business law, designing and giving legal trainings to non-legal people, design thinking, driving and making things happen. She has been working in the space and defence domain of Airbus since 2001 in various functions and areas.
