From Contracts to Connected Commercial Systems: Navigating Decision-Making in an AI-Enabled World
Hosted by: BHP
Date & Time: Tuesday, April 21, 2026 | 2pm - 6pm ACST
Address: 10 Franklin St, Adelaide SA 5000
AI and advanced analytics are transforming how organisations approach commercial decision-making across procurement, contracting, finance, and legal. Yet as these technologies evolve, many organisations are recognising that stronger data alone is not enough. Without clear governance, defined ownership, and commercial discipline, the same technologies intended to drive value can also introduce new layers of risk and complexity.
The WorldCC Adelaide Connect, generously hosted by BHP, brings together senior practitioners from across commercial, procurement, legal, and finance functions to explore how organisations are rethinking the way enterprise decisions are structured and governed in an increasingly AI-enabled environment.
Drawing on the latest global insights from the CCM Institute, Sharon Morris, Group Regional Head – APAC at WorldCC, will share perspectives on how leading organisations are moving beyond static contracts and fragmented processes toward more connected, dynamic systems that actively support business performance. The program will also feature an exciting keynote presentation (to be confirmed) that will inform and inspire attendees.
The practitioner-led panel discussion will focus on how organisations are aligning functions, strengthening accountability, and embedding commercial discipline into decision frameworks so that AI and data enhance, rather than replace, sound commercial judgement.
Designed for practitioners navigating growing complexity across commercial operations, the session will offer practical insights, peer perspectives, and a forward-looking discussion on how enterprise contracting and decision-making are evolving.
We welcome all our commercial, procurement, contracting, supply chain, and legal professionals across Australia.
Don't miss this chance to gain valuable perspectives and connect and network with fellow professionals. Share insights, exchange ideas, and build relationships beyond the session.
This event is open to WorldCC members and non-members alike. We encourage you to invite a work colleague to bring their unique perspective, learn from WorldCC and build connections. Non-members should create a guest member account, free of charge, in order to register.
