Chris Waugh is a Senior Advisor, Contract Management at Ontario Power Generation (OPG), where he has worked for the last 20 years. His background includes roughly 15 years in project management and five years in commercial and contract management, focused primarily on large engineer-procure-construct projects at nuclear and hydroelectric generating stations. Chris has been a Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2013 and is a strong advocate for collaborative contracting practices. On this panel, he brings a practical public sector perspective on how AI can be used to effectively support contract management.

Deloitte Canada Partner and Risk Leader responsible for all risk considerations in support of Deloitte’s business teams including but not limited to client contracting, AI considerations, compliance and regulatory matters as well as internal practise compliance.  Have been with Deloitte for twelve years with previous risk management roles within various different companies and industries including retail, government, media and financial services.

Noah Waisberg is co-founder and CEO of Zuva, which uses AI to help businesses understand contracts and streamline M&A. He previously co-founded and led Kira Systems as CEO for over a decade, growing the company to 200+ employees and serving 18 of the top 25 M&A law firms as well as all of the Big Four firms.

Before Kira, Noah practiced corporate law at Weil, Gotshal in New York. He is recognized as an expert in contract analysis, legal technology, and AI's impact on professionals, and has spoken
at major conferences including SXSW, ILTACON, and Legal Geek.

With experience on all sides of the table—working with contractors, service providers, and sophisticated project owners—Rob has worked across various sectors, including mining, industrial, healthcare, justice, highways, and transit. He has negotiated contracts and settled claims on complex projects worldwide. 

Rob thrives in conditions of change and uncertainty that demand innovation. Many of Rob’s projects have been the first of their kind for the client, and several were the largest of their type in Canada at the time.

Rob has negotiated billions of dollars worth of agreements and settled hundreds of millions of dollars worth of claims. He has done deals worth from five figures to eleven. Rob achieved financial close on one project two billion dollars under budget.

Trained as a lawyer, Rob has eight years of experience in private practice and fifteen as an in-house lawyer. 

In a non-legal capacity, he spent twelve years leading transactions and overseeing delivery across several social and civil public asset classes for one of the world’s leading public infrastructure agencies. He then created and led the agency’s dedicated legal team for rescuing troubled projects and preventing, mitigating, and managing claims and disputes. Rob led the agency’s legal response to the worldwide pandemic and the insolvency of a contractor across multiple projects.

Dan Woltman, CAE is a nonprofit executive with over 20 years of experience leading organizations in developing robust membership programs, membership engagement and strategic partnerships. He currently serves as Regional Head of Americas at World Commerce & Contracting (WorldCC), where he leads regional strategy and leadership initiatives supporting the WorldCC community in advancing commercial and contract management practices across the Americas.

He has served in previous roles including VP of Membership & Corporate Partnerships at the Society of Defense Financial Management (SDFM), where he was responsible for membership growth, chapter engagement, and corporate partnerships. He also served as VP of Member Engagement and Strategic Partnerships at the Ethics & Compliance Initiative (ECI), focusing on membership development and business development strategies. Earlier in his career, Dan held leadership positions at the National Business Officers Association (NBOA) and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), where he contributed to membership, business development, and marketing efforts.

Dan holds a Master of Science in Marketing (MSM) and is a Certified Association Executive (CAE). He is also a board member of the Optimist Club of Greater Vienna, VA, supporting youth development programs through community initiatives like the Vienna Farmers Market.

Deepak Boojhawon is Global Director, Business Management at Hatch, where he leads the advancement of commercial discipline, contractual governance, and business management capability across complex global projects. He brings more than 25 years of experience in commercial management, contracts, procurement, and project delivery across the metals, energy, and infrastructure sectors. He has led teams on major projects across the Middle East, Asia, the United States, and Canada, and brings experience from client, contractor, and engineering environments. Deepak is passionate about improving commercial outcomes, strengthening governance, and mentoring the next generation of leaders.
