The Human Side of AI Adoption in Leadership

Many AI projects don’t fail because of the technology, they stall where human systems are fragile, misaligned, or excluded. As organizations scale AI beyond pilots, the challenge becomes creating the right human conditions: psychological safety, governance clarity, and ethical alignment.

In this session, Dr. Barbara Mutedzi, neuroscience-informed executive advisor and anthropologist, explores how leaders can strengthen trust, culture, and performance through conscious leadership and values-based governance. Drawing on research showing that roughly 70% of AI obstacles are human rather than technical, Dr. Mutedzi reveals how regulation of the nervous system and ethical coherence become key to sustainable AI transformation.

Key Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize why the biggest barriers to AI adoption are cultural, not technical.
  • Build psychological safety to reduce fear and resistance around AI.
  • Establish values-aligned governance and ethical guardrails.
  • Identify misalignments between your AI approach and organizational purpose.
  • Move from siloed pilots to integrated, trustworthy AI use across teams.

Ideal for: Executives, transformation leaders, and functional heads responsible for people, risk, and outcomes in complex environments.
