Lucy Chandler is the Global Business Operations Manager for World Commerce & Contracting. She has been with the organisation for 7 years and initially joined as an Executive Assistant to support the Europe and UK members but has moved up in her role gaining further knowledge and experience. She provides support to all of the members across the globe with membership, training, and general enquiries. One of Lucy's yearly highlights and greatest passion is being a host the ‘Leaders of the Future' program.

Before Lucy joined WorldCC, she worked in the brewery industry for 16 years so moving from beer to contracts was certainly a big change and challenge but is a journey she has enjoyed. Outside of work, she is married, has two boys in their mid-teens and our family dog, Jack, so she is overpowered by men in the house. She enjoys a bit of baking when she has time and has been known to make some artistic cakes including one for WorldCC when they re-branded from IACCM to WorldCC in September 2020.

Anita is an experienced and certified commerce expert holding a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Commerce, Post Graduate Diploma (Contract Law) and have completed an International Executive Development Programme at Wits Business School and London Business School. She has over 20 years experience across various sectors and geographical exposure to sub-Saharan Africa, Australia and South America.

Following completion of an Honours degree in 2003, Emma joined Babcock and has been in the defence industry for 20 years, gaining extensive experience in high value competitive tendering and commercial contract management in the Naval and Marine sectors. Throughout this time, she learned what makes a highly effective team and how functions can align goals to deliver quality outcomes benefitting both business and customers, whilst developing excellent relationships.

Emma now leads commercial governance for Babcock Group, focussing on developing and implementing global process improvements alongside people initiatives, to empower the team to provide an excellent commercial service to internal and external stakeholders. She leads a small, passionate team of like-minded individuals who strive to simplify commercial governance and develop a common identity for the commercial function. Alongside her governance role, she is also Babcock’s lead for the Commercial Workstream for the Strategic Partnering Programme with the UK Ministry of Defence and the Cabinet Office, with a joint vision based on best practice and facilitating more collaborative commercial working.

Throughout her career, Emma has benefitted from guidance and mentoring from colleagues, and she is committed to continue promoting this culture in Babcock by connecting commercial teams to share knowledge and innovations to ensure continuous growth and improvement.
