Liyana Rahim is the APAC Contract Management Leader at Schneider Electric, bringing over 15 years of experience across commercial strategy, contract management and legal advisory roles. She leads a regional team of contract managers across the Asia-Pacific region. She has led strategic initiatives to enhance project profitability while strengthening client relationships. She is also the creative force behind Schneider Electric’s “Visual Contract Guide,” developed in partnership with World Commerce & Contracting (World CC) – an innovative visual summary of key contract terms designed to enhance understanding across business teams. The guide earned the “Better Contract Design” accreditation from World CC in 2021 and is now used globally within Schneider Electric. Liyana’s work reflects a pragmatic, innovation-driven, and solution-oriented approach to managing risk, driving commercial excellence, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

Nkoni Nicholas-White works for Rolls-Royce (Civil Aerospace) as a Commercial Manager based in Singapore. His role is focused on managing Rolls-Royce’s long term engine support agreements with airlines across the Asia Pacific and Greater China regions dealing with commercial disputes and litigations as and when they arise. Prior to this role, Nkoni has held several other positions within Rolls-Royce including; 3 years working in Saudi Arabia as a Programme Lead delivering an engine availability contract to the Royal Saudi Air Force, 3 years in Germany as a Programme Manager within the Eurofighter Typhoon consortium and 4 years in the UK as a Programme Lead delivering the UK Ministry of Defence’s Future Combat Air System propulsion programme. Nkoni is a chartered aerospace engineer with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and a Chartered programme manager with the UK’s Association of Programme Management.

Scott is a globally recognised negotiation expert with 25 years of experience advising on high-stakes commercial deals across 44 countries. The founder of Apex Negotiations and Harvard-certified in advanced negotiation mastery. Scott supports in-house legal, procurement, and commercial contracting teams to manage complexity, protect leverage, and secure better outcomes under pressure.

Su Yin began her legal career in 1996 as a litigator before transitioning into corporate, banking and finance work. She worked in major Singapore law firms, as well as in the Singapore branch of a foreign bank, and was involved in a broad range of work for a diverse clientele. After a decade as a Big Four Singapore law firm partner with a primarily general banking and finance practice, she engaged in teaching and research endeavours while lawyering in-house. Governance and risk management were a significant part of Su Yin’s work as general counsel to two research institutes, and she employed facilitative training, process facilitation and principled negotiation as means to manage legal risks while achieving commercial and other outcomes. As a teacher-researcher herself, Su Yin’s varied experience enables her to offer a holistic approach to legal risk management and strategic legal guidance. Today, she advises businesses and organisations (in particular entities in the education and R&D sectors) on compliance, data protection and day-to-day corporate/commercial matters. She also provides local counsel support in cross-border general banking and finance transactions. Su Yin has Master's degrees in both Law and Education (with a major in developmental psychology). In addition, she is an IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional/Asia and an International Institute of Facilitation-certified virtual facilitator. 

Daniel is a Local Principal at Baker McKenzie’s Singapore office. He is accredited by the Singapore Academy of Law as an Accredited Specialist in Building and Construction Law, and is currently a Council Member of the Society of Construction Law (Singapore). He has more than 13 years of experience in this industry, having worked as a military engineering officer and programme manager handling overhaul and maintenance projects for the Republic of Singapore Navy’s vessels prior to practising law. His portfolio of work centres around three practice areas: (i) transactional services for new projects (including the designing, planning and drafting of the suite of contractual and related documentation) as well as the reviewing of tender bids and negotiations to close-out; (ii) consultation and advice on issues and claims arising out of ongoing and completed projects; and (iii) resolution of disputes through formal and/or alternative dispute resolution proceedings.

Ivy Xin is Vice President for Secure Power at Schneider Electric, East Asia. She leads the Secure Power division across East Asia, with a focus on driving growth in the data center market by leveraging Schneider Electric’s full portfolio of solutions. With a background in engineering and over 15 years of industry experience, Ivy is an active advocate of harnessing innovation to help businesses realize the advantages of digital infrastructure and smart, sustainable energy solutions. Ivy is passionate about bringing the latest technology to customers to enhance operational resilience, efficiency, and sustainability. She has held positions across a variety of divisions at Schneider Electric and was also Vice President of the Digital Energy Business.
