Marie Cullen is Head of Procurement at Fluence Energy where her team is responsible for the sourcing and supplier relationship management across Battery Energy Storage Projects in Australia. Marie is passionate about Energy and has over 10 years within the Energy sector in Australia in AusNet and Jemena. She believes procurement can make the world a better place, it can take the stress out of buying for our internal stakeholders and can enable businesses foster strategic long term relationships with their suppliers allowing them to grow and innovate together. Marie is a Research Council member for World Commerce and Contracting and is a qualified Irish solicitor.

Else Bright has 29 years of experience as Commercial and Contracts Management practitioner specialising in Defence and IT industries in acquisition, services and as-a-service contracting, most recently working for BAE Systems’ Aircraft Sustainment and Training line of business in Williamtown, NSW focusing on the Joint Strike Fighter Program. Else has been a member of WorldCC for many years, and a WorldCC Council Member in Australia representing Aerospace and Defence. Else commenced her role as Senior Director Member Engagement ANZ in April 2022.

Frank is a seasoned Commercial, Contracts, and Procurement Professional currently serving as a Procurement Manager for Gas Projects and Construction at Jemena. He has a proven track record of success in managing contracts, developing procurement strategies, and negotiating with suppliers. His expertise focuses on driving efficiency, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Specializing in identifying cost-saving opportunities, Frank excels in building strong relationships with stakeholders. He skillfully analyzes complex data to develop actionable insights and execute strategies that deliver measurable results. Whether negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, or developing procurement policies, Frank consistently aims to deliver value and exceed expectations.

Has 10 years of business development and project management experience, more than half of which was spent in utilities. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, currently learning French at DELF A1 level. Currently a Project Management Officer in Electricite de France (EDF), responsible for project support in infrastructure development projects across APAC, as well as business development work in the Philippines market. Has a keen interest in energy infrastructure development and advancing the Energy Transition.
