While best known for his work on Performance Based Contracts (PBC), Andrew has a unique and diverse set of skills and experiences based on over 30 years of commercial, engineering and logistics experience for both the 'buy' and 'sell' side of contracts. Andrew regularly presents at various PBC conferences.

Else Bright has 29 years of experience as Commercial and Contracts Management practitioner specialising in Defence and IT industries in acquisition, services and as-a-service contracting, most recently working for BAE Systems’ Aircraft Sustainment and Training line of business in Williamtown, NSW focusing on the Joint Strike Fighter Program. Else has been a member of WorldCC for many years, and a WorldCC Council Member in Australia representing Aerospace and Defence. Else commenced her role as Senior Director Member Engagement ANZ in April 2022.

Director of SSCL, Bernie began his logistics and procurement career in 1987 in the New Zealand dairy industry as a Logistics Coordinator with NZ Dairy Board. Over the years, Bernie migrated through a range of senior procurement and commercial roles as an employee of NZ Dairy Board, Heinz and Telecom. As a consultant and through establishing SSCL in 2005, Bernie draws from a deep experience base and is supported by a tight team of practitioners to assist clients.

Bernie is a past Chair of the New Zealand Defence Industry Association (DIA) and has represented industry on the NZ Government Procurement Reform Strategy Group. Bernie assisted with the production of the 2014 Ministry of Defence Paper, Optimising New Zealand Industry Involvement in the Defence Sector, as a member of an Expert Advisory Group, and was appointed by the Minister of Defence to the Defence Industry Advisory Council (DIAC). In his role as Chair of NZDIA, Bernie worked closely with NZDF, supporting its initiatives to change the way NZDF relates to industry and turn around frequently poor contractual relationships and adversarial mindsets.

Bernie is a past Australasian Advisory Board of IACCM, now known as WorldCC, a not-for-profit global best practice research and professional development organisation with 43,000 corporate and individual members. He is also a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand. Bernie has a postgraduate Diploma of Business, Operations Management from Auckland University and attended an advanced negotiation training programme at the Harvard Business School.

Since establishment of SSCL in 2005, Bernie has been committed to ensuring sustainability for both customers and suppliers. His focus is to provide consulting services that assist clients to stand-up leading-edge commercial and contract management capability.

Anna has always been interested in forming collaborative relationships between Buyer and Supplier. However, with many years of operational procurement experience behind her, Anna knows how difficult this can be at times. It can take a long time to develop beyond the initial honeymoon; and it needs constant nurturing. As such, commercial practitioners can effectively become marriage counsellors between legal entities.

Anna is currently the Manager Commercial Services at Te Runanga o Toa Rangatira, an organisation with a special focus on partnering, respect and trust; and developing joint ventures with a diverse range of entities.

Michael has been a council member for World CC representing New Zealand for the last 5 years and brings a wealth of public sector commercial and procurement experience. He has a keen interest in using supplier relationships and pragmatic procurement approaches to add value to organisations. His current role is Director Commercial for Disability Support Services within New Zealand.

As Executive Assistant at World Commerce & Contracting, I pride myself in my excellent practical, planning, and problem-solving skills, technical mind, and ability to organize and motivate others. I practice a streamlined and intuitive approach to assistance, taking great pleasure in representing our senior-level management professionally.

In addition to my role as an Executive Assistant, I also serve as a Program Manager for the WorldCC Foundation, where I excel in providing comprehensive organizational support. My skills in project management, strategic planning, and effective communication have been instrumental in leading initiatives that contribute to the Foundation's success.

In 2018 I completed a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Education and Sociology, with minors in Social Policy and New Zealand Sign Language. Since then, I have earned two contract and commercial management certifications at the associate and practitioner levels and have recently completed my Level 5 executive assistant diploma.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing squash (a recent discovery and new passion)!

Onur works for Te Runanga o Toa Rangatira as a Principal Planner and Principal Resource Management Advisor. Prior to her role with Te Taiao team at the Runanga, she worked for Wellington City Council as an RMA (Resource Management Act) Iwi Parnership Principal Advisor and had overseen all the RMA planning work with iwi in Te Whanganui-a-Tara. She has more than 15 years of experience working for several Government Departments in New Zealand including Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment. Onur completed a Doctorate at the Politics Department of Otago University looking at politics of water in European Union, now what it feels like a century ago. She likes running and motorbikes.
