APAC - Inspiring Women 2022: Inclusion, equity, equality and empowerment
March 08, 2022
Decades of hard-fought progress on gender equality has been undone over the last two years as women have been forced out of the workforce to care for family. In 2015, the UN published 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) designed to be a blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. SDG number 5 is to “Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls”. Women’s equality and empowerment is integral to all dimensions of inclusive and sustainable development – in short, all 17 SDGs depend on the achievement of Goal 5.
World Commerce & Contracting’s Inspiring Women Program has been developed to recognise and celebrate women who have made significant achievements in and contributions to the field of commerce and contracting. At its core, this program is about inspiration and empowerment. Join us as we celebrate International Women's Day and launch our 2022 Program in APAC, celebrating women from across the globe, playing our part in supporting gender equality for a more sustainable tomorrow.
