APAC Virtual Member Meeting - Can The Contracting Process Improve Without An Owner?
August 25, 2021
Agenda We look forward to another engaging WorldCC Asia Pacific Member Meeting. Join Bruce Everett of WorldCC, Robert Tuckerman and Jason McQuillen of KPMG in this virtual Member Meeting discussing the main points in the latest research report “Can the contracting process improve without an owner” sponsored by KPMG. This meeting will acknowledge the following issues and seeks to tackle them head-on. Contracting does not work efficiently. It is costly, it creates delay and, too often, it fails to build the trusting, collaborative relationships on which modern business depends. The dominant, widely acknowledged reason for this is simple – no one owns it. There are many who lay claim to portions, but none who accept accountability. We will discuss the structure of creating an Office of Contracting and whether it can help solve the problem. Even if such an office cannot be created or feasible in your organisation, how can we utilise the elements of this structure to pull together the disparate needs and fragmented resources that stand in the way of improvement?
