Responsibilities

Review requests from various business divisions for IT/Non IT professional, consulting or other services
Strategic Souring, procurement and identification of opportunities in cost savings, value delivery to customer
Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure
Invent negotiation strategies and secure profitable deals
Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency
Coordinate with stakeholders to assure agreement on terms and processes
Research and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers
Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques
Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers
Work on specific Improvement initiatives (for instance these may relate to new process optimization, New Capacity optimization) and collaborate across and within teams and build positive relationships with external and internal customers to match the right solution to each customer’s needs.
Participate in ad-hoc activities for team specific requirements
Overall responsibility for the performance of Suppliers within specified Categories and work with other Functions to ensure deliverable (SLA and Non-Compliances) are met.
Produce performance matrix, taking accountability and setting high personal specifications to deliver timely results in a changing environment

Understand the strategic direction set by senior management, clearly communicate with team on goals, deliverables

Minimum Qualifications

7 to 10 years of post-qualification experience in contract and commercial management, supply chain – Strategic sourcing and procurement.
Category expertise in the indirect sourcing
Experience in both IT and non-IT industry – professional services/BPO
Experience of working on RFP/RFQ/RFI processes, including auctions and supplier selection
Experience in reviewing Master Agreements, SOWs, NDAs, etc.
Hands on experience in “Procure to Pay” process
Understanding of savings mechanisms. Experience in building and implementing savings strategies would be an added skillset.
Knowledge of end-to-end contract life cycle management
Understanding of service levels, pricing mechanisms and other key areas of contracts
Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement
Strong project management and leadership skills
Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships
Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PPT
Proficient written and oral communications.
Solid judgement with ability to make good decisions

Primary Location – Remote, Central Time Zone

Work Schedule – Monday to Friday – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time

Education Level – Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management, logistics, legal studies or business administration
