We are seeking an experienced individual to join our growing UKG Legal Operations team! The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic partner focused on increasing legal operational efficiency, including planning, data gathering and analysis and solving process and technology challenges that come with rapid growth. This role is well-suited to a proactive, hands-on, detail-oriented, intellectually curious, operations-focused professional who is excited about creating structure and insight through collaboration, data and technology. This role reports to the Director of Legal Operations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Legal Leadership to chart the strategic direction of the legal department’s data strategy, via gathering and analysis of monthly and quarterly business metrics.
• Provide operational analysis through reports and dashboards and support department planning by tracking and reporting on key department metrics, business analysis and industry benchmarking.
• Develop compelling stories, presentations, visualizations and summaries of data and information with a goal of helping stakeholders understand most salient details to make informed decisions.
• Identify trends through internal and external benchmarking to help anticipate enablers that will further allow our Legal team to consistently deliver great legal advice.
• Identify gaps and areas of opportunity where legal technology should be implemented, and serve as project manager for evaluation, selection, implementation and adoption for such solutions.
• Monitor and update project information (preparing documentation, status reports and other related work throughout the project lifecycle) while ensuring assigned duties and responsibilities/project results are completed with quality and are timely and accurate in nature in order to meet leadership expectations.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders/division leadership throughout the duration of the project and post implementation to make certain all impacted stakeholders have an understanding of risks, issues and activities.
• Identify success measures, paths to adoption, and other future forward strategies for continuously improving legal technology and processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in legal operations, with some or all within a corporate environment.
• Experience evaluating, selecting and implementing legal technology solutions (entity management, intake management and triage, CLM a plus);
• Ability to project manage multiple projects with limited supervision
• Proficiency in project management; leading large-scale projects/programs cross functionally, preferably in a large corporate environment,
• PMP or Six Sigma is a huge plus!
