Asking international suppliers to observe a code of conduct is standard practice. But what if your supplier's code of conduct (SCC) uses language that is broad and unspecific? Don't worry, this won't always mean it is less effective. But be aware, the language you choose will critically affect the way the code is used - and may have legal consequences. So choose wisely.
