Chief Legal Innovation Officer
As Chief Legal Innovation Officer, I work with organisations to build efficient contract frameworks, reimagine and redesign their terms and conditions for greater ease of doing business, understand and work with the WorldCC contracting principles and collaborate with technology for better outcomes.
I am a lawyer by trade and before World Commerce & Contracting, I headed up the European Cloud and Solutions legal team at IBM. Prior to joining IBM, I worked for leading New York law firm Weil Gotshal and ex Silicon Valley-based start-up Micromuse.
I am passionate in my belief about the importance of selfless leadership for the success of organizations. My management style is to lead by example, working alongside my colleagues and rolling up my sleeves. In my personal life, I have worked tirelessly for greater equality and successfully lobbied the UK government to agree with changes in the law to help vulnerable children access education. I am a member of the Board of Trustees of the Quintin Hogg Trust, a charity dedicated to the advancement of education.
In my free time I enjoy theatre and film and I especially love spending time with my special girls, Liliana and Dahlia, who are adopted from Ethiopia.
